well, you got that one right! I actually modified the web.config as per the instructions, but forgot to upload it to the server -- too many interruptions on my end.
Out of curiosity, how the heck could you figure out that the problem resided with the connection string? I looked at it, but it must not have been close enough (obviously)! Everything working now, though.
I hesitate to make any modifications beyond the ones in the instruction simply because I wouldn't be happy if someone messed with my code, so I treat the software I purchase the same way....
I did rebuild the project after modifying the web.config file (just a habit, really), and i did get an error message; LMSReporterStudentSummary.aspx.resx doesn't exist! I don't think it affects the software, but just wanted you to know that I got it.
