You have Roddenberry saying he pitched it as being like a Western, not
actually being a Western.

Pitching does that. If I pitched a film as "Die Hard in Space" I don't
mean that Bruce Willis will star in it.

Whereas a SF/Western would be set in space with six-shooters and
horse... much like the Oblivion films or Firefly.

Only if you ignore the meaning of the words.

One reference can be facted. I posted 10 out of the hundreds of
references to the "Wagon Train to the Stars" comment of many sites, but
strangely you didn't reply to that post.

Do you really thing that your one lame reference is the only time that
Roddenberry commented on the creation of Star Trek?

Unless you have seen the DVD, how do you know what it says? I typed, in this
thread, exactly what he said, that it was a western in space...etc etc.

WHAT A GULLIBLE FOOL you are! I have it on DVD where Roddenberry PROVES
BEYOND DOUBT that you are wrong but YOU would rather believe web sites than
see yourself proved wrong by him on DVD?

You don't give a shit about credibility in your postings, do you?
