Hi Guys

I'm thinking of setting up an e-store selling frontline, advantage,
revolution and advocate at a much lower price than at the shops.

Is this something you guys would use? What kind of cost saving would
you consider an incentive? - im thinking of a $5-$10 over the
petshops.

not spamming, havnt built it yet, just thought id run the idea by you
to see if you think its a good idea?

Cheers
Al

Good idea, but already been done many times.

I would want saving to be more than $5-$10 over the petshops.

I doubt you will ever compete with this place:

www.pricelesspets.com.au

Good luck with your endeavours.

Agreed its a good idea (well maybe not to vet business but to the consumer
for sure ) :)

However, there are already heaps around selling online.
I mean even shopfast sells frontline, advantage etc, although it is more
expensive then the dedicated pet online stores.

Never seen it cheaper then your pricelesspets one though, im still wondering
how on earth they manage to sell it so cheaply when it costs me more then
they sell it for to buy it from a wholesaler in the first place.

They actually have a store front up here in Brisbane - Priceless pets is
operated by Wooloowin Vet Surgery, and the products are the same price as
the online store.

The actual store front and surgery looks rather shabby, and they do C7
vaccinations for $66 but I'm not sure of their other prices. I think the
entire operation is run on a shoestring budget and I'm not sure how they
make much money out of it all.
They don't do an appointment system for their surgery, its first come, first
served. Surgery hours are 8-11am and 4-6pm Mon-Fri and 9-11am Sat.

They probably have a more profitable surgery elsewhere and use that one as a
tax write off. :P

God, that is cheap for the vaccinations.

Everyone says they pay more wholesale than priceless pets sells for - very
strange.

And just may-be they buy the stuff in 200 litre drums and bottle it
themselves.
It's not all that hard to beat the prices a vet charges, simply because they
put outragus price mark-up's on there stuff.
Compare a vets product prices, for non medicial products with "big W"
They buy by the truck load, and work on big turnover, small profit.
