wish we had thought of that to.....had ours done recently by some el cheapo
guy..we were told that the carpet would be dry in 3 hrs..8 hrs later and it
was still damp although it wasn't a very hot day. I gather if they said 8
hrs and not three, people might think twice about it

Well none of it is 'steam' cleaning, at best its just hot water.
