You don't , you will have to send the invites yourself via the gmail
interface so that the registration goes though gmail and you are notified
later that the person has opened up the account.

Nope , you have to be logged in to a valid gmail account and then you enter
the person's name and email address in the pop-up interface and send it off
, when the person creates the new account , gmail informs you about it.

If you want to give away the invites in a Ng , you will have to tell the
people to email you with a name and their email address so that you can
enter it in the pop-up on the gmail web site.

email account ?
