Conservaltives don't even bother with the truth anymore
by John in DC - 1/21/2005 03:32:18 PM
Now they're beating up on CBS' Face the Nation for interviewing a Democratic Senator without a Republican response. http://mediamatters.org/items/200501210004
The problem is, Face the Nation has had more Republican guests without Democratic responses than vice-versa.
Oops.
So in fact, we should be the ones who complain.
But hey, that would muck up the GOP victimization bandwagon.
Christians are under attack.
The media is liberal.
Our marriages will all evaporate if s are allowed to fall in love.
Our children's heads will explode if we teach them the truth about science.
Blah blah blah.
If the GOP likes ignorance so much, then why don't they all move to Alabama where I'm sure they'll all be very very happy watching Benny Hill and discussing the finer points of creationism, when they're not playing Bible Bingo.

You bastard, you deliberately left out the following words from the article: "since the November 2 presidential election"
Obviously they have featured more Republicans since the GOP victory because they want to know about the Republicans' plans.
Would you care to tell us how balanced (or unbalanced) the coverage was prior to the election?

The Dems admit that their party acts like a bunch of "fundamentalist secularists." THEIR words, not mine.

Go read Goldberg's book "Bias." He worked at CBS News.

If the Dem Party likes winning elections so much, it had better find a way to appeal to Red States instead of demeaning them. You Dems can't seem to get it thru your heads that you can't get people to support you by insulting them and shaming them.
You moan and groan about how you can't seem to win in the Red States. But the truth is, you don't really want to. In fact, the very thought of visiting Alabama, let alone trying to campaign there, sickens you.
