Exactly the reason I quit going to church about 15 years ago. They
all pervert the bible wording to suit their own needs, and use it to
get more money from those who follow like sheep.
I dont need a book or a church. I can pray to God from my own couch,
the back porch, or even while I am working at my job.
When it comes to alcohol, if you abuse it, it will ruin your health,
and I dont think God would approve of that either. But dont stop at
alcohol. Abuse food, tobacco, and most any substance and it will ruin
your health and most likely not be favorable to God.
I drink in moderation, eat in moderation, and have a few cigarettes
from time to time. Never had a problem with any of it, and neither
does my God !!!
