 | Okay, this is getting ridiculous! I just had to give the back garden its first grass cut of the year before we lose sight of the trampoline. The damn stuff hasn't stopped growing this year.
Also, half the bushes in the back garden have buds on them, which is way earlier than previous years, I'm sure. I know I'm on the south coast of Kent, and things happen a bit earlier down here, but January 16th?!!
Paul.

It's bound to happen , and will probably be a "re-imagining" rather than just a plain remake of the exact storyline. -- Alex

Perish the though... and as you are at the moment someone that thought about a remake ;-) so if it happens it'll be all your fault :-))) what would you do or would you hope it never gets remade :-))

It isn't unusual. I currently have in flower snowdrops, aconites, lamium, periwinkle, winter jasmine, a bit of forsythia, anemones, alyssum saxatile and even a ceanothus, plus a pink shrub whose name escapes me.
I also had a Greater Spotted Woodpecker in the garden today, which I have *never* seen round here beefore. Way cool.
